port GmbH is an independent software company which develops communication protocol stacks and development tools mainly for the automation market. The main protocols supported are CAN based DeviceNet and CANopen and Ethernet based real-time protocols like Powerlink, Profinet, EthernetIP but also standard TCP/IP. For the development of communication interfaces port is offering complete tool-chains starting with the design phase, to libraries in C code or object code, up to sophisticated test tools and the required bus interfaces.

The protocol software meets the demands of modern automation systems and is implemented in many customer applications already including safety devices according to SIL3.

port GmbH has CANopen Driver Packages prepared for use with the TASKING VX-toolset for TriCore, C166/ST10 and ARM as well as the classic C166/ST10 and 8051 toolset.
