VectorCAST for TASKING is a comprehensive software module test system integrated with the TASKING compilers for embedded development. The integration leverages the capabilities of the TASKING Script Debugger, which makes it possible to automatically execute test cases on target or with the simulator.
This state-of-the-art automation includes the tasks of building complete test harnesses for unit and integration testing, executing test cases, graphically presenting the associated code coverage, and generating the execution reports. Prior to VectorCAST for TASKING, testers were required to manually generate test code to isolate components before any testing could begin. VectorCAST for TASKING removes this preparation work with automatic test code generation.
VectorCAST has been made available for the TASKING TriCore VX-toolset supporting TC1165 and TC1766, the TASKING Classic C166 toolset supporting C167, XC2287 and XC2364, and the TASKING DSP56xxx toolset.
