Noregon was founded by individuals from the Transportation Software industry for the purpose of providing exceptional software engineering services and products, primarily to the transportation industry.

The J1939 Protocol Stack is a complete implementation of the SAE J1939 protocol. It has been fully tested and is being used in many heavy-duty trucking applications, in commercial real-time operating systems, and has been ported to Microsoft Windows. The protocol stack comes complete with source code that runs on the Phytec kitCON-167CR (Infineon C167) developer board. The code was developed with the TASKING classic C166 compiler and comes with a sample "main()" program that repeatedly sends J1939 messages and displays incoming messages through a terminal connected to the developer board serial port.
