SEGGER Microcontroller Systeme GmbH develops and distributes software development tools and ANSI "C" software components (middleware) for embedded systems in several industries such as telecom, medical technology, consumer electronics, automotive industry and industrial automation.

Main products are emWin, universal graphic software for embedded applications and embOS, a small and efficient real-time kernel. EmbOS can be extended with a TCP/IP Network Stack. Segger also provides J-Link, a USB powered JTAG emulator for ARM cores.

Both the embOS kernel and the TCP/IP stack have been made available for the TASKING VX-toolset for C166/ST10 and M16C. J-Link is available for the TASKING VX-toolset for ARM.
