SMART was founded in 1988. About 40 employees are developing and producing test solutions for automotive electronics. The product and service range comprises: test consulting, communication interfaces and software, test development, test components and systems, embedded software for flash and test and customer specific development.

ADLATUS is the modular embedded software solution for reprogramming of automotive electronic control units via CAN, LIN or K-Line. ADLATUS offers a uniform flashsolution for OEMs and suppliers alike. Modular system adaptable to a wide range of needs: the core is the heart of ADLATUS®. Using precisely defined and documented interfaces, the following customer-specific modules:

• Description of flash procedure
• Project configuration and project interface
• Flash API and drivers
• Communications

are linked to the core and integrated into the ADLATUS® flash loader.

ADLATUS works together with the TASKING VX-toolset for TriCore as well as the classic C166/ST10 toolset.
