| DC166_DOL.ZIP | Feb-1-2000 | 34kB | Demo v6.0r6 update: cannot find 'printf*.lib' The v6.0r6 demo which was available for download from the TASKING WEB site till the 2nd of February 2000 and the v6.0r6 demo which is included on the DAvE 2 CD-ROM from Infineon Technologies are affected. When selecting the EDE Expert mode (EDE > Project Options... > Expert), an error will be displayed because the toolchain tries to link a 'printf*.lib' library which is not included in the v6.0r6 demo. Either de-select the corresponding option (EDE > Linker/Locator Options... > Linker/Locator TAB > Use extensive (LARGE) printf() and scanf() formatters), or download this 'dc166_dol.zip' file and install its contents in the 'etc' directory of the installed v6.0r6 demo. The v6.0r6 demo which is available for download from the TASKING WEB site dated Feb-1-2000 does not require this bypass or fix. |
