We are seek­ing a high­ly moti­vat­ed and skilled Senior Soft­ware Com­pil­er Engi­neer to join our team at TASKING. Posi­tions are open in both Ger­many (Munich area) and the Nether­lands.

Responsibilities:

  • Require­ments analy­sis, require­ments spec­i­fi­ca­tion and test spec­i­fi­ca­tion
  • Design, imple­ment, doc­u­ment, test, and debug new and exist­ing soft­ware units
  • Nego­ti­at­ing and influ­enc­ing tech­ni­cal issues and solu­tions with­in the project team
  • Design and build ready-to-use exam­ple projects and ref­er­ence designs
  • Bench­mark­ing and Per­for­mance improve­ments
  • Bi-direc­tion­al exchange with sup­port engi­neers
  • Nego­ti­at­ing and influ­enc­ing tech­ni­cal issues and solu­tions with­in the project team and prod­uct man­age­ment
  • Change Analy­sis and Effort Esti­ma­tion

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Com­put­er Sci­ence, Elec­tri­cal Engi­neer­ing, or a relat­ed field
  • Famil­iar with mul­ti­ple pro­gram­ming lan­guages and have excel­lent C/C++ pro­gram­ming skills and pro­fi­cien­cy in using script­ing lan­guages
  • Has con­tributed to either pro­pri­etary or open-source com­pil­er code bases or has devel­oped sta­t­ic analy­sis tools
  • Is capa­ble of solv­ing com­plex prob­lems where solu­tions can have wide-rang­ing effect on the TASKING prod­uct or prod­uct develop­ment.
  • A Senior Soft­ware Engi­neer has at least five years expe­ri­ence as Soft­ware Engi­neer.
