Kookmin University Signs MOU with TASKING Korea for Fostering Skilled Professionals and Technical Collaboration

Seoul, Korea — Sep­tem­ber 23, 2025, Kook­min Uni­ver­si­ty and TASKING Korea have announced the sign­ing of a Mem­o­ran­dum of Under­stand­ing (MoU) to deep­en col­lab­o­ra­tion in tal­ent develop­ment and tech­ni­cal exchange. The agree­ment was for­mal­ized by Pres­i­dent Seung Ryeol Jeong of Kook­min Uni­ver­si­ty and Hyung-Jin Kim, Coun­try Man­ag­er of TASKING Korea.

The sign­ing cer­e­mo­ny brought togeth­er rep­re­sen­ta­tives from both orga­ni­za­tions, includ­ing Houssem Ben Abder­rah­man (Chief Rev­enue Offi­cer, TASKING HQ), Hyung-Jin Kim (Coun­try Man­ag­er, TASKING Korea), Se-Woong Park (Sales Man­ag­er, TASKING Korea), Ruda Yi (Admin­is­tra­tion Man­ag­er, TASKING Korea), Jin-Sik Son (Vice Pres­i­dent for Plan­ning, Kook­min Uni­ver­si­ty), Gu-Min Jeong (Pro­fes­sor of Intel­li­gent ICT Con­ver­gence, Kook­min Uni­ver­si­ty), and Yong-Soo Han (Pro­fes­sor of Intel­li­gent Elec­tron­ic Engi­neer­ing, Kook­min Uni­ver­si­ty). Togeth­er, they dis­cussed phased strate­gies and prac­ti­cal col­lab­o­ra­tion plans to ensure suc­cess­ful imple­men­ta­tion.

Under the agree­ment, the two par­ties will coop­er­ate across mul­ti­ple ini­tia­tives, includ­ing the pro­vi­sion of TASKING’s indus­try-grade soft­ware and tools for edu­ca­tion­al and research pur­pos­es, the joint develop­ment of tech­ni­cal train­ing pro­grams, and the imple­men­ta­tion of col­lab­o­ra­tive R&D projects aimed at inno­va­tion and work­force readi­ness. The part­ner­ship also fos­ters ongo­ing knowl­edge-shar­ing between acad­e­mia and indus­try.

Jin-Sik Son, Vice Pres­i­dent for Plan­ning and Direc­tor of Indus­try-Acad­e­mia Coop­er­a­tion at Kook­min Uni­ver­si­ty, remarked, “We look for­ward to fur­ther expand­ing our col­lab­o­ra­tion with TASKING. Their con­tin­ued sup­port has sig­nif­i­cant­ly con­tributed to the qual­i­ty of our edu­ca­tion, and we are com­mit­ted to build­ing on this part­ner­ship to gen­er­ate long-term mutu­al ben­e­fit.”

Houssem Ben Abder­rah­man, CRO of TASKING, stat­ed, “It is truly mean­ing­ful to part­ner with Kook­min Uni­ver­si­ty as TASK­ING’s first indus­try-acad­e­mia part­ner in Korea. This MoU marks the begin­ning of a close, long-term part­ner­ship between Kook­min Uni­ver­si­ty and TASKING Korea. The two par­ties will work hand in hand to fos­ter next-gen­er­a­tion engi­neer­ing tal­ent, accel­er­ate tech­ni­cal inno­va­tion, and enhance TASKING’s con­tri­bu­tion to the embed­ded soft­ware ecosys­tem in Korea.
