About
ETAS offers RTA-OS, which is a real-time operating system currently used in many series production projects in the automotive industry. It is AUTOSAR compliant, and can be used in a non-AUTOSAR environment like OSEK/VDX 2.2.3 standards as well. RTA-OS, first released in 2008, was created to make a smaller and faster system than the previous solution. In the years’ since, RTA-OS has been released on 52 different target ports.
Partnership
ETAS’s RTA-OS works with the TASKING C compiler on a wide range of Infineon AURIX TC1xx, TC2xx, TC3xx, and TC4xx devices to facilitate applications with tiny memory footprints and class-leading CPU utilisation. ETAS is currently working with TASKING to bring RTA-CAR support to their newest RISC‑V compiler.
