About

VLAB Works (now part of Cadence) provides VLAB Virtual Development Machines (VDMs), fast level 4 virtual ECUs, for automotive and embedded software development and test. VDMs are used throughout the system lifecycle, starting from early hardware and software shift-left, through system development and integration, to long-term maintenance and software updates. VDMs provides fast, scalable, and cost-effective simulation tools that support system-level integration, software verification, and functional safety validation across automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications.

Partnership

TASKING and VLAB Works are official technology partners, working together to enable seamless virtual prototyping and verification for embedded software development. Through the integration of TASKING winIDEA with VLAB VDMs, engineers can debug and validate embedded applications in a fully virtual environment — independent of hardware availability. This partnership accelerates time-to-market, improves software quality, and supports the development of safe and reliable automotive and industrial systems.
