WITTENSTEIN high integri­ty sys­tems (WHIS) devel­op SAFERTOS^®, a safe­ty-cer­ti­fied Real-Time Oper­at­ing Sys­tem. Trust­ed across indus­try, SAFERTOS^® is found in appli­ca­tions across auto­mo­tive, indus­tri­al, med­ical, aero­space and rail­way sec­tors. Designed for reli­a­bil­i­ty, deter­min­ism, and func­tion­al safe­ty, SAFERTOS^® sup­ports com­pli­ance with the high­est cer­ti­fi­ca­tion stan­dards includ­ing but not lim­it­ed to ISO 26262 and IEC 61508, enabling devel­op­ers to accel­er­ate cer­ti­fi­ca­tion.

TASKING and WHIS work togeth­er to pro­vide a com­plete develop­ment plat­form for safe­ty-crit­i­cal embed­ded sys­tems. By com­bin­ing TASK­ING’s safe­ty-focused com­pil­er and debug­ging tools with SAFERTOS^®, devel­op­ers gain a reli­able, inte­grat­ed solu­tion for build­ing and cer­ti­fy­ing appli­ca­tions to func­tion­al stan­dards. The LDRA tool suite, now part of the TASKING fam­i­ly, com­ple­ments this by pro­vid­ing sta­t­ic analy­sis, dynam­ic analy­sis and require­ments trac­ing for SAFERTOS®-based appli­ca­tions, help­ing teams meet cer­ti­fi­ca­tion require­ments across the indus­tries men­tioned above. Addi­tion­al­ly, when com­bined with TASKING SWAT, SAFERTOS^® pro­vides RTOS-aware trac­ing that gives engi­neers deep insight into task sched­ul­ing, con­text switch­es, exe­cu­tion tim­ing, and sys­tem behav­ior at run­time.
