TASKING Local License Server v3.0r1

License admin­is­tra­tion should­n’t cost your team engi­neer­ing time. Ver­sion v3.0r1 auto­mates the rou­tine work, lets you rehearse an upgrade before you com­mit to it, and pre­pares your envi­ron­ment for TASK­ING’s next gen­er­a­tion of license keys.

Ben­e­fits of upgrad­ing:

  • Zero-Touch License Man­age­ment Auto­mat­ed License Bun­dle Sync keeps your enti­tle­ments up to date with­out man­u­al inter­ven­tion. For air-gapped net­works, Man­u­al License Bun­dle Down­load deliv­ers the same result offline.
  • Try before you switch The new Dry-run License Serv­er Mode lets you val­i­date a v3.0r1 setup before it takes over pro­duc­tion — serv­er upgrades stop being a leap of faith.
  • Sim­pler access con­trol Sta­tus and ser­vice ports are now con­fig­ured sep­a­rate­ly, so you can grant access to mon­i­tor­ing with­out expos­ing license serv­ing.
  • Ready for Uni­ver­sal License keys v3.0r1 lays the ground­work for sin­gle license keys that cover more than one product.d detec­tion accu­ra­cy for Tri­Core v6.2r2 toolset.

TASKING VX-toolset for TriCore v6.3r1p11


Ben­e­fits of upgrad­ing:

  • Improved usabil­i­ty
    • Match­ing the GNU make depen­den­cy file for­mat improves and eases the use of 3rd party make util­i­ties. GNU make depen­den­cy file for­mat sup­port, improv­ing com­pat­i­bil­i­ty with third-party build sys­tems.
    • Elim­i­nate the 512 files open lim­i­ta­tion on Win­dows.
  • Increased Tri­Core func­tion­al­i­ty - Link­er added sup­port for the fol­low­ing check­sum algo­rithms for AURIX 2G deriv­a­tives:
    • IEEE 802.3 CRC32 (input range processed per byte instead of a 4-byte word) eth­er­net poly­no­mi­al: 0x04C11DB71
    • AUTOSAR safe­ty poly­no­mi­al CRC32P4: 0xF4ACFB13

LDRA Target License Packages

Sev­er­al LDRA Tar­get License Pack­ages (TLPs) have been updat­ed, and a new TLP has been released. These enhance­ments build upon the LDRA tool suite’s exten­sive out of the box sup­port for tar­get devices, mak­ing it even eas­i­er for devel­op­ers to per­form on tar­get test­ing, analy­sis, and ver­i­fi­ca­tion.
