Analysis of Program Execution and Bus Activities (CAN/LIN) with winIDEA & BlueBox Tools

This webi­nar will dis­cuss record­ing and ana­lyz­ing CAN / CAN-FD / LIN mes­sages dur­ing the net­work activ­i­ty of the embed­ded sys­tem:

• Gen­er­ate trig­gers and CAN / CAN-FD mes­sages as a response to net­work events
• Cor­re­late in time net­work events with the micro­con­troller activ­i­ty

Who should watch?

Many embed­ded appli­ca­tions run in con­junc­tion with dif­fer­ent net­work busses. Increas­ing­ly the rela­tion between the embed­ded soft­ware and net­work activ­i­ties is becom­ing rel­e­vant dur­ing develop­ment, sys­tem inte­gra­tion, and test­ing.

Webi­nar intro­duces how the CAN/CAN-FD and LIN bus net­work data can be cap­tured and dis­played in in the iSYS­TEM IDE, winIDEA, par­al­lel to the micro­con­troller code exe­cu­tion (trace record­ing); a tech­nol­o­gy called iSYS­TEM Pro­fil­er Inspec­tors is used for the event / tim­ing analy­sis; isystem.connect API is used for automa­tion via script­ing.
