Altium and Neutron Controls sign cooperation to provide extended services to Infineon AURIX™ customers in North American markets

April 25, 2017

Altium, a Global Leader in Elecrronic Design Automation and Neutron Controls, Service & Development System provider for Embedded Systems and Infineon Preferred Design House for AURIXTM, join forces to provide extended services to the North American embedded industry.

San Diego, Calif. – April 25, 2017 - Altium today announced a cooperation agreement with Canada based Neutron Controls to combine its design services and know-how around Infineon related applications with the compiler centric tool offerings from TASKING to serve customers in the North American embedded industry with a more complete offering.

Design House Services for AURIXTM

As a Preferred Design House for AURIX Neutron Controls offers both consulting and engineering support, specialized in applications built on and around Infineon’s AURIX™ TriCore™ based Microcontroller platforms.

Compiler centric tools with leading performance

Through the agreement, Neutron Controls will be able to provide extended services to the market by including the TASKING compilers and compiler centric tools to their portfolio. The TASKING VX-toolset for TriCore/AURIX is recognized in its user base to deliver best performance in terms of speed and memory footprint. The recent ASPICE Level 2 certification of the development processes and safety related tools like TASKING Safety Checker for test against freedom from interference are well recognized in the TASKING use base, especially in safety and ADAS related areas.

“Through the close cooperation with TASKING as the Embedded Systems Division of Altium, our customers will benefit from the extended service portfolio we provide to the market,” says Dave Stubbs, President of Neutron Controls, “While tools like the TASKING AURIX Configuration Tools make it easier for customers to get a headstart into the AURIX platform, we will be able to offer help and training around safety and performance related topics.”

Franz Maidl, Director Global TASKING Business adds “The cooperation with Neutron Controls as a Preferred Design House for AURIX and well recognized expert for embedded solutions in the North American market provides customers of Infineon's AURIX platform a competitive advantage in getting up to speed with their new applications faster and maximise the performance of their hardware through both best tools and services.”

Infineon Automotive Multi-core Developer Conference

Both Altium and Neutron Controls will be present at the Automotive Multi-core developer conference hosted by Infineon Technologies on April 25-27, 2017 in Detroit, MI, to discuss multi-core challenges in the automotive field and to present new innovative TASKING solutions to cope with multi-core and the performance needs of ADAS applications.
