High per­for­mance Add-on mod­ules for the iC7max.

Blue­Box Add-on mod­ules are offered with the iC7max like the ADIO and CAN/LIN mod­ule.  These mod­ules allow the user to observe and gen­er­ate sig­nals and net­work mes­sages.  This addi­tion­al infor­ma­tion can be syn­chro­nized with the cap­tured Debug and Trace infor­ma­tion to pro­vide a more com­plete view into how the embed­ded sys­tem is oper­at­ing.

Devel­op­ers need this holis­tic view to gain insights in how the exter­nal sig­nals and bus mes­sages are impact­ing the sys­tem per­for­mance.

System View

Ana­log and dig­i­tal sig­nals can be cap­tured and dis­played in par­al­lel to the micro­con­troller code exe­cu­tion.
CAN/CAN FD and LIN bus net­work data can be cap­tured and dis­played in par­al­lel to the micro­con­troller code exe­cu­tion.
iC7max has 6 FNet Ports allow­ing for mulit­ple Add-on Mod­ules to be used con­cur­rent­ly.

Flexibility

iC7max Blue­Box fea­tures a high-per­for­mance inter­nal data bus named FNet. 
FNet allows TASKING to ana­lyze com­plex sys­tems by con­nect­ing and syn­chro­niz­ing one or sev­er­al TASKING debug­gers and their add-on mod­ules.
Auto­mate test­ing with the use of script­ing.

Show tim­ing infor­ma­tion of exter­nal sig­nals cor­re­lat­ed to the pro­gram and data trace to show delays across the sys­tem.
Allows net­work activ­i­ty and code exe­cu­tion to be exam­ined side-by-side with­in TASKING winIDEA IDE.
Gen­er­ate digital/analog sig­nals to con­trol the tar­get hard­ware.

ADIO (Analog/Digital) Module

Mon­i­tor­ing of ana­log and dig­i­tal sig­nals and syn­chro­niz­ing with pro­gram exe­cu­tion infor­ma­tion.
Pro­vides two ana­log inputs, two ana­log out­puts and up to 24 dig­i­tal inputs/outputs, which can be used for auto­mat­ed Hard­ware-In-The Loop (HIL) test­ing.
Pro­vid­ed inputs allow the mea­sur­ing of the Embed­ded Sys­tems power con­sump­tion. 
Using dig­i­tal inputs, option­al SPI Pro­to­col Ana­lyz­er is avail­able for easy mon­i­tor­ing of two SPI inter­faces with­in the embed­ded tar­get either alone or in con­junc­tion with the pro­gram exe­cu­tion.

CAN/LIN Module

Sup­ports the mon­i­tor­ing of CAN, CAN-FD and LIN inter­faces syn­chro­nous to pro­gram exe­cu­tion infor­ma­tion. 
Mea­sure the end-to-end response time of a send to receive mes­sage.
Sup­ports trig­ger­ing on CAN. (E.g., Start a trace record­ing when a ded­i­cat­ed CAN mes­sage appears on the bus.
Inject CAN mes­sages.
CONNECTIVITY

iC5700 Hub

iC5700 Hub extends the iC5700 with an addi­tion­al three FNet ports to con­nect Active Probes, ADIO and/or CAN/LIN Add-on mod­ules. The FBridge port allows you to con­nect to anoth­er Hub on a sec­ond iC5700 for syn­chro­nous debug­ging and trace.
