DAP over CAN

Debug over CAN with Infineon AURIX™ TC2xx, TC3xx, TC4x

The TASKING DXCPL Converter enables a TASKING debug tool connection to the microcontroller via the regular CAN interface pins of the ECU. This connection is electrically robust due to the nature of the CAN bus. The DXCPL Converter translates Infineon AURIX™ SPD (Single Pin DAP) encoded DAP messages to the CAN bus physical layer.

Ease of Use

A non-functional ECU can be revitalized by flashing or debugging via the CAN bus.
Tool connection is robust and does not require a working flash or any software.
Easy approach for in-vehicle debugging.

Development System

DAP over CAN Physical Layer Converter enables debugging via the regular CAN pins of the ECU connector without opening its housing.
Hardware solution supports DXCPL on Infineon AURIX™ TC2xx and TC3xx devices.
DAP over CAN Physical Layer Converter can be used with TASKING BlueBoxes.

Time to Market

An alternative approach for accessing the microcontroller, flashing and debugging your application.
DAP over CAN can use the DTM interface or Active Probes with the iC7max.
Easy to setup as only requires the Physical Layer Converter and a USB‑C cable.
