Get­CID util­i­ty v2.2r1

Use this util­i­ty to gen­er­ate a Com­put­er ID for a node-locked license, in case a com­put­er can­not con­nect to the TASKING cloud-based license servers.

v2.2r1 (Win­dows or Lin­ux) This ver­sion can be used for the lat­est TASKING prod­ucts.

v1.1r1 (EXE or ZIP) Use this util­i­ty for the fol­low­ing TASKING VX-toolsets:

  • VX-toolset for ARM release v5.1r1 and before
  • VX-toolset for Tri­Core release v5.0r1 and v4.4r1/r2/r3
  • VX-toolset for RH850 release v2.1r1
  • VX-toolset for Pow­er Archi­tec­ture release v2.1r1 and v2.2r1
  • VX-toolset for LC87 v1.0r1

Is the product/version of your choice not list­ed here, then it like­ly uses FLEXlm as license man­age­ment tool.

Local License Serv­er

Local License serv­er v2.2r1 Release Note

Con­tact our Sup­port team to get the lat­est Local License Serv­er soft­ware. If you had access to the Sup­port Cen­ter (now dep­re­cat­ed) in the past, you can also obtain the lat­est soft­ware from there under LICENSING.

You only need this when installing a local license serv­er.

If you are upgrad­ing your local TLM serv­er on Win­dows, please fol­low the step-by-step upgrade instruc­tions on our Knowl­edge Base.

Note that this soft­ware may also be present in the orig­i­nal dis­tri­b­u­tion of some old­er TASKING prod­ucts. It is always rec­om­mend­ed to install the most recent ver­sion of the license serv­er. In case you install an old­er ver­sion, you need to inform your TASKING rep­re­sen­ta­tive in order to pre­pare the cor­rect license con­fig­u­ra­tion for you.
